...so who is Shamrock Design?
Shamrock Design was founded by Kym Ireland in 2010. After returning to Dubbo from a 4.5 year adventure (previous employment) as Production Manager of the Digital Section for a busy Trade Printing Company near Sydney. The relocation was made to be closer to family and friends... there's no place like home.
Why the name Shamrock, because I'm Irish (in more ways than one I'm often told) and I wanted a Business Name that was fun and gives me some artistic licence, as well as meaning something to me.
So why not give Shamrock Design a go - to be sure...to be sure... :) sorry had to do that!
It could have been worse, but I had no way to get 'diddlededee potatoes' in there at all.
Why us
- Simply. . . I am very good at what I do.
I started my career in the Design & Print Industry as a Silk Screen Printer.
After completing an Indentured apprenticeship and going on to work at the same establishment for 7 years, I decided to start my own Screen Print Business which I sold back in 1998. I've also dabbled in teaching at TAFE, which I enjoyed very much
delivering classes in Digital Graphics, Screen Printing & Digital Photography. - Prior to leaving Dubbo around 5 years ago, I established another Business - ACE Design & Graphics which was a Design & Print Brokerage Business. After the sale of ACE Design & Graphics, I was head hunted by a large company near the Blue Mountains to service a large corporate client as Production Manager for the Digital Printing Section of the company. I have serviced many clients on all levels from Schools, Small - Medium sized Businesses to high end corporate.
- I've worked on a huge range of Design & Layout projects over the years such as Point Of Sale, Food & Beverage Product Packaging and all forms of print based design. More recently I've ventured into Web Design, which I'm pretty excited about.

Even for an experienced Designer - using computers for nearly 20 years, the Web is a confusing place. It's full of new learning curves, it's own jargon and technology that moves so fast it will put your head in a spin.
Why would you try to navigate your way through it alone? It's easy to spot the people that try. They are the ones that jumped on the wagon years ago because every body said they needed a web site. They are the ones that haven't updated or freshened their site since it first came on line. Or they just did it themselves or had a mate create it for them. Sound familiar?
If you fall into one of these examples that's OK, We can help. Be aware though, that consumers have changed. They like info and prices and they like it now! Gone are the days where a Website just had a Phone / Fax / Email contact address.
So if your Website is just a fancy Yellow Pages ad with no real functionality, inter activity or a means of showcasing your range of products and services, well maybe it's time to update.

I'm not the cheapest, but I'm definitely not the most expensive either. I don't charge for every second I spend on every little thing... I'm not like that. If I quote you a price I'll stick to it - no nasty surprises.
Generally with Web Design, there are lots of variables. I will always give you a good estimate but more often than not, ideas and websites evolve a bit as we go along.
